The name Standard, comes from Standard Motor Company, manufacturer of Triumph sports cars. Standard Performance is a company born from over 20 years experience in the British sports car industry, including 15 years of running a large British car restoration shop (The British Connection). This does not even include the many years of knowledge passed on to me by my late father, Martin French, whose experience in the industry began in the mid 50's.
Standard Performance is in the business of providing general repair, maintenance and component rebuild services to most classic British makes of automobile, (Triumphs are a specialty). In addition to these services I offer various services to the vintage racer, such as sheet metal fabrication, roll cage work, engine building, suspension modification, rolling road tuning and track side support.
In the coming days, weeks and months I will be stocking my shelves with various performance goodies for your Triumph sports car. Keep your eyes peeled especially for the Spitfire supercharger kit. It is currently out of R&D and is available now. Reserve your today! Kits are presently available for the TR6 and a GT6 kit is in the works also!
